Gone are the days when you would sit through a three-hour death by PowerPoint presentation on how to handle your finances. I will give you a welcome break from that by using popular finance games like Monopoly and Thrive to get you thinking about how you handle your finances
Personal financial games make spending, saving, investing and giving more personally relevant and action-oriented. That’s not to say that you cannot learn about money by sitting in a class, but, wouldn’t it be more interesting if you break it off with some fun, laughter and active engagement?
You could even make more interesting by involving the people close to you.
Think about it.
How many times have you struggled with teaching your kids the value of money? Wouldn’t it be great to play and learn about money with your family?
How many squabbles have you had about how to use your savings in your Chama? A finance game session will provide a low intensity, highly interactive opportunity for you and your Chama to think about investment opportunities.
You can do the same for your friends or even your colleagues.
Don’t believe me? You don’t have to take my word for it. Hear it from the horse’s mouth.
